UAS and aviation expert Susan Roberts joins Ondas Networks to lead

Efforts to develop the strategy and business of UAS and the aviation markets

A new role in accelerating the growth of FullMAX acceptance in drones

Nantucket, Massachusetts, April 20, 2021 – Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS), developer of software-based wireless broadband technology for large established and emerging industrial markets (Ondas or Company), announced today that Susan Roberts is joining the company as a senior advisor, focusing on strategy and business development for Ondas, as the company commercializes its FullMAX communication platform for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and aviation verticals.

Ms. Roberts is a prominent member of the UAS community and has extensive experience, holding various leadership positions at Panasonic, GE Aviation, BAE Systems, Orbital Sciences (now ATK) and Honeywell in executive, software, and engineering roles. She has managed a number of UAS and Aviation hardware and software solutions through regulatory approval and implementation.

Ms. Roberts is currently the CEO of The 1182 Group, a business management consultant founded by her who specializes in innovation and business strategy development. Prior to that, she was Head of Commercial Innovation at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, leading the development of the company’s managed services business model. Prior to Panasonic, Ms. Roberts was co-founder of AiRXOS, Inc., GE Venture, focused on drone traffic management solutions. At AiRXOS, she manages the company through financing and initial commercial sales, including working with the FAA on a UAV certification partnership based on performance-based standards and risk assessments. At GE Aviation, Ms. Roberts led Aviation Navigation and Guidance’s R&D commercial programs. She is currently Chair of the Strategy and Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Association of Unmanned Systems (AUVSI) and is a former Chair of the Board of Directors of the Association of Commercial Drones.
