Google will launch a subscription to the

San Francisco: Google is set to announce a new subscription package on the lines of Apple Onewhere a new Pixel device will offer, among other things, an extended warranty and premium subscriptions such as YouTube Premium or YouTube Music and Google One.

Google will launch Pixel 6 series smartphones on October 19 and then the new package can be announced.

Called ‘Pixel PassGoogle’s plan for the package is detailed in a leaked photo posted by technology writer Brandon Lee.

“Pixel Pass: This seems to be a combination of an iPhone upgrade plan, where you can get a new phone every year, and an Apple One subscription,” Lee wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

“It includes YouTube Premium, Google One, Play Pass, extended warranty and is connected to Google Fi,” he added.

Pixel Pass may also offer a discount compared to individual payment for services.

There is no mention of Google Stadia, the search giant’s cloud streaming service, as part of the Google package.

There is also no mention of which Pixel smartphones will be available with the Pixel Pass.

Apple One is a subscription that combines a number of first-class services provided by Apple in multi-level packages, offered for the first time in 2020. The three levels offered are Individual, Family and Premier, and all three provide access to Apple Music, Apple TV +, Apple Arcade and iCloud storage.

Both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will share the same basic ultra-wide camera.

The devices will come with a 50MP Samsung GN1 main camera and 12-megapixel Sony IMX286 ultra wide camera. The Pro model will have a 48-megapixel sensor for the Sony IMX586 telephoto camera with support for 4x magnification, XDADevelopers reports.
