Applications have been invited for Sainya Ranakshetram, the Indian Army’s annual cybersecurity hackathon organized by the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Rashtria Raksha University and ISAC.
Sainya Ranakshetram is a cyber threat seminar and hackathon seminar organized by the Indian Army to provide a platform for participants to propose, develop and implement digital solutions to strengthen national cybersecurity and mitigate related challenges.
There are three challenging tracks to race on, each with three difficulty levels. One has to qualify at each stage to enter the last level.
Secure Encryption: Secure encryption is a set of practices that apply security considerations to how software will be encrypted and encrypted to best protect against cyberattacks or vulnerabilities.
Software-defined radio: Software-defined radio is a radio communication system in which components that have traditionally been embedded in hardware are instead implemented through personal computer software or an embedded system.
Capture the Flag: The CTF is a special type of cybersecurity competition designed to challenge its participants to solve computer security problems and / or to capture and protect computer systems.
Level 1 and level 2 of the three songs will be held on November 15, 2021 and November 22, 2021, respectively. Level 3 of secure encryption and software-defined radio will be held from 6 to 30 December 2021 and that of Capture the Flag from 16 to 17 December 2021
There are first, second and third prizes for the winners in each of the three songs. The best winners will be judged on the quality of the submission and the time required to complete the challenges. The final winners will receive their prizes during Army Day. The best performers have a chance to win internships in the Indian Army.
Participants must ensure that their ideas / projects have not been sent to other initiatives or hackathons before. The organizers have the intellectual property rights (IPR) related to the ideas and results presented during the hackathon. Codes / prototypes / models selected by the hackathons can be developed as products / solutions under the guidance and close supervision of the Indian Army.
Undergraduate Indian students and defense officers can apply. Those selected in the final round will receive a certificate of participation
