SatixFy and SWISSto12 to Collaborate on Digital Satellite Payloads

SatixFy and SWISSto12 to collaborate on digital satellite payloads.

SatixFy and SWISS to12 have formed a strategic collaboration to work on advanced satellite payloads. The companies said each offers products that complement advanced digital payloads and work together on a number of programs in the field.

Digital payloads require built-in digital signal processing capabilities to provide configurable, channeled, switching, and regenerative payloads capable of skipping and beamforming processes. The companies are planning joint payload design and integration, systems engineering and an optimization approach for telecommunications missions.

Thursday’s announcement did not mention specific projects, but SatixFy recently received a $ 35 million award for its work. satellite project for jumping beams for the United Kingdom in a project led by OneWeb. SatixFy has a software-defined high-bandwidth product portfolio in flexible digital payloads and beamforming technology, and SWISSto12 has active antenna technology that uses 3D printing capabilities for radio frequency (RF) applications.

“This partnership with SatixFy will bring our unique product capabilities together for the benefit of the next generation of advanced telecommunications payloads. We look forward to our work with satellite integrators to provide these new payload products, ”commented Dr. Emil de Rake, CEO of SWISSto12.
