TEVET Announces LibertyGT RTSA RF Record and Playback System for Mission-Critical Applications | 2021-06-22 | Press Releases

GREEN, Tennessee. ,, June 22, 2021 / PRNewswire / – TEVET , a provider of first-class tests and measurements, announced today that the company has acquired LibertyGT from RADX Technologies, Inc. LibertyGT is a real-time spectrum (RTSA) recording and reproducing system that delivers distinct flexibility and high accuracy. electronic warfare and 5G applications.

Modular in nature, portable in size and scalable in design: With a single LibertyGT system, TEVET customers can replace competing rack-level systems that use separate recording / playback technology and external storage systems with streamlined, all-in-one one PXIe tools.

The real-time signal nature of the LibertyGT family of software-defined synthetic instruments (SDSI) means that it can obtain, analyze, and present results for unique measurements exponentially faster than traditional testing methods. Ideal for ATE systems integrators and end users who need to develop, qualify and deploy systems for multiple users and installations, LibertyGT is based on commercial technology to enable repeatability and reproducibility.

Software-defined synthetic equipment provides flexibility and performance

LibertyGT carries a flexible, COTS real-time RF testing solution of threat response applications. Modular in nature, portable in size and scalable in design, the LibertyGT can replace competing rack-level systems that use separate recording / playback technology and external storage systems with streamlined, all-in-one PXIe tools. The platform includes RADX Trifecta-SSD, the only SSD RAID modules in the industry that can provide 64 terabytes of storage in a single PXIe slot.

Designed for application flexibility and programmability, LibertyGT can be initially customized by TEVET for specific requirements and modules can be added as an application scale. The LibertyGT API supports NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, C / C ++, Python, and MATLAB through a local and remote (TCP / IP) interface.

“We are committed to serving DOD and DOE, major contractors and other first-rate vendors with quality technology that lowers the barrier to entry – and LibertyGT provides another way to do that,” he said. Tracy Solomon , CEO of TEVET. “This proven platform offers cost-effective, high-performance capabilities for testing e-warfare and 5G applications, where speed, performance, flexibility and future adaptability are critical to the mission – and we are proud to offer it to our customers.”

In addition, server-based capabilities of LibertyGT allow engineers to use PC and server technology to improve LibertyGT performance and overcome aging in existing systems.

Frequency and bandwidth support a wide range of applications

The LibertyGT platform includes real-time signal analysis and multi-channel RF recording and playback for up to 16 synchronized channels. Optimized for broadband RF recording and playback, it supports a bandwidth of 50 MHz to 1 GHz. With this scalability and scope, test engineers are given a flexible tool that can provide adaptability in identifying e-war, 5G signals, and other new and emerging threats.

Ongoing commitment to expand technical capabilities

In 2020 TEVET has expanded to a 150,000-square-foot headquarters in Greenville, Tennessee . With 137,000 square feet of storage and prefabricated space, TEVET can relieve customers of the functions of assembly, placement of materials, assembly and construction of printing, which pose logistical challenges for the development of a test and measurement system.

Originally developed by RADX Technologies and distributed by TEVET , LibertyGT is already owned, manufactured and maintained by TEVET, further streamlining and providing ongoing support to new and existing LibertyGT customers.
