Mayor Lynn Spruill swore in the Starkville police department’s newest officer, Kojack.

He was joined by MSU’s mascot bully, along with K9 officers from the MSU police department and the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office.

Pups from across town were invited to join the fun.

The 20-month-old German short-haired pointer has many jobs, including finding drugs.

However, his nose will help officers in another area of ​​law enforcement.
