Elbit Systems Awarded a $338 Million Contract to Supply the E-LynX Mobile Radio Network Solution for the Swiss Armed Forces

HAIFA, Israel,, December 17, 2020 / PRNewswire / – Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) (LEVEL: ESLT) (“Elbit Systems” or “The Company”) announced today, in addition to the company’s report from October 29, 2019 that he was awarded approximately $ 338 million contract from the Swiss Federal Ministry of Defense, Civil Defense and Sport to provide the Swiss Armed Forces with a tactical mobile network solution with software-defined radio (SDR) under the Telecommunications Armed Forces Digitalisation Program (TK A), Ersa Crowd Komm. The contract will be fulfilled for a period of six years.

This contract award is after more than three years of extensive and competitive technical as well as field evaluations conducted by the Federal Defense Procurement Service and the Swiss Armed Forces. The proposed digital mobile network solution is based on E-LynX SDR family of open architecture, allowing fast, reliable and secure communication through the Swiss Armed Forces.
