According to the Ordinance on Train Drivers, the mechanics course is conducted only by organizations authorized by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. This is clearly stated in Article 31 of the TRAIN MECHANIST REGULATION of 20 December 2016:
ARTICLE 20 – (1) A certificate for train driver and / or training of an instructor for driver training shall be given by the railway center for training and examinations, authorized by the Ministry.
(2) The examination for a certificate of competency of a train shall be managed by the ministry and / or the railway examination center, authorized by the ministry.
(3) The examination for a badge for a driver shall be managed by the railway center for training and examinations, authorized by the ministry.
(4) The procedures and the principles regarding the qualification of the railway training and examination center shall be determined by the ministry.
