The Raspberry Pi The community is built on communication between producers who are always itching to find more ways to communicate and interact with their favorite SBC A producer known on Reddit as Splash07s decided it was time to listen for a change and create a custom software-specific radio (SDR) platform called Raspberry Ham.
SDRs are popular with amateur radio operators – hence the term Ham radio. Users can listen to a wide range of frequencies ranging from air traffic control to local scanners. If the show is unencrypted and open to the public, you can listen. This project uses the Raspberry Pi as the basis for the radio.
Splash07s recently uploaded a complete, detailed list of parts that you can see Reddit. The main components used were the Raspberry Pi 3 B +, the Pelican 1200 case and the RTL-SDR key.
The Pelican case is completely waterproof and has external ports with waterproof shells. Externally, you can take advantage of HDMI, Ethernet port, multiple USB ports and even a 3.5 mm jack. The image used for the SDR functionality comes from a developer named Luigi Cruz. You can find its SDR image for Raspberry Pi’s GitHub.
The the best Raspberry Pi projects are ones with a clean finish, and this one has a really great, custom logo that includes our favorite raspberry with a piglet. look Raspberry ham thread design for a complete breakdown of this great compilation.
