Richardson RFPD Announces Global Distribution Franchise Agreement with Red Pitaya | Business

GENEVA, Illinois – (BUSINESS WIRE) – September 9, 2021

Richardson RFPD, a company at Arrow Electronics, announced today that it has entered into a global franchise distribution agreement with Red Pitaya, a maker of multifunctional, software-defined open source laboratory instruments.

Under the RFPD agreement, Richardson is a global distributor of the Red Pitaya range of flexible, reconfigurable instruments that can replace other, more expensive laboratory instruments. Red Pitaya’s all-in-one boards can replace oscilloscope and signal generators, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, code analyzers and vector network analyzers.

The all-in-one boards are available in kits aimed at the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and medical industries, academia and research, as well as radio amateurs, and include accessories such as oscilloscope probes, SD cards, Ethernet cables and power cords.
