Oshawa pizza place raising money for life-changing surgery for local boy

A pizzeria site in Oshawa is raising money for a young local boy in need of a life-changing but expensive operation.

Domino’s on King Street East conducts the fundraiser on March 3 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

If you order a large pepperoni or cheese pizza online using the CONNOR code, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to fundraising at Connor’s Quest.

Conor Champalia was born 12 weeks premature and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) when he was just one year old.

His mother says Connor was admitted to an operation called selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

She says the surgery will drastically change Connor’s life and allow him to live more independently and painlessly. however, it will cost $ 135,000 for surgery, travel, and accommodation.
