NEWARK, New York, October 26, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Ultralife Corporation (NASDAQ: ULBI) received a purchase order worth approximately $ 4.2 million for the supply of its vehicle adapter amplifiers (‘VAA & CloseCurlyDoubleQuote Defense; ) of &, Inc., a world leader in the development, production and maintenance of battle-proven, software-defined radio equipment for the U.S. Army’s Leader Radio program & CloseCurlyQuote. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2022.

Army & CloseCurlyQuote’s decision to begin full production of Leader Radio after operational tests and evaluations provides soldiers with the most up-to-date radio networking capabilities available for improved situational awareness, which is critical to the mission’s success. Dual-channel software-defined radio provides both data and voice communication through multiple waveforms, allowing the soldier to use one radio instead of the two currently required for voice and data. The VAA platform of Ultralife & CloseCurlyQuote provides the soldier with an enhanced range of digital voice and data communications and operational flexibility.
